Ellie recently got laid off from her job at a museum, and is in need of a new one. While at a tree farm one weekend, Ellie loses sight of Brandon. While looking for him, she runs into Reece Madsen, owner of the tree farm they’re at. Reece shows her where Brandon is at, and Ellie feels an instant attraction to him. He feels one towards her as well, and from there starts the process of Reece convincing Ellie that they would be a good match. While this book is a novella, I feel like it was very well developed, and I was invested in what was happening to the characters.
